Meet The Team

What I like most about my role at Phenix is the ability to be part of a team shaping the direction of a company that’s truly transforming itself and the film market. It’s incredibly rewarding to lead a team of incredibly smart, talented, driven team members who are passionate about solving complex challenges and creating technological solutions that delight our customers!  Every day brings new opportunities to push boundaries and deliver value — to both our Employee Owners and our customers.

Outside of work, I spend my time trying to convince my three very large dogs, Harley, Brutus and Sammy, that I’m the boss and my golf ball that it should go straight. Neither listens, but I keep trying. Both dogs and golf keep me active, grounded and a great way to relax.

What I enjoy most about my role at Phenix is being part of an exciting period of growth and working alongside a passionate, driven team. I value the opportunity to contribute in meaningful ways—whether by helping build structure, supporting strategic development, or being part of a company that fosters a strong, family-oriented culture where people feel supported, connected, and empowered to make a difference.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my grandkids, and being outdoors as much as possible—whether it’s biking, riding UTVs, gardening, working on home landscaping projects, or bird watching. I also love to travel, especially to warm, sunny destinations.

What I enjoy most about my role at Phenix is leading a highly skilled engineering team that directly supports our customers. Our work is hands-on, technical, and mission-critical, which makes it both challenging and rewarding. I take pride in the fact that our team operates with a strong sense of urgency and ownership. I especially like how Phenix’s core is built around being fanatical about response. I’ve been in many different industries in my career, and one of the most frustrating parts in any industry is how much time is wasted waiting for a response back. Even though our team spans the Midwest and East Coast, we’ve built a responsive, collaborative culture that ensures our customers get timely, expert support. Being able to lead in this environment, while also contributing to the strategic direction of the company, makes my role especially fulfilling.

Outside of work, I really enjoy spending quality time with my family—it’s something I truly value. I also have a passion for cooking and grilling, especially trying out different recipes. One of my favorites is chicken cordon bleu on the pellet grill, served with creamy mashed potatoes and green beans. I also enjoy making birria tacos on the Blackstone. Beyond that, I like spending time outdoors, whether it’s deer hunting or off-roading in my Suzuki Samurai. These activities help me recharge and keep a healthy work-life balance.
