Role Responsibilities:
- Grow and develop relationships with existing customers and prospective customers
- Grow sales in the established territory according to yearly AOP
- Build robust account strategy and provide rolling business forecast
- Work with management to set sales goals and territory expectations
- Identify, execute and quantify value actions for key accounts
- Work with internal team members to ensure efficiency and provide exceptional service to customers
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management
- Negotiates prices, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; prepares contracts and submits order
- Represent company at trade shows and association meetings to promote company and services
- Ensure continued growth in targeted markets by facilitating strategic sales and marketing plans
- Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities
- Track and report sales metrics
- Manage travel expenses
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications / Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in outside sales
- Required Food Packaging experience background with forming and non-forming printed pouches
- Ability to sell value-added products and services
- Excellent interpersonal and customer skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Respectful of all and ability to inspire work and cooperation with multiple teams
- Exceptional organizational skills to support multiple projects
- Traveling up to 50%
